Over the years, I learned another little handy trick that seems to help when it comes to saving money on parts for my car. You know all of those old "buy here, pay here" car lots? Well, if you run into one that is locally owned, you may get a little deal on any spare parts that they have laying around. Many times, these spare parts are just lying around and cannot be used for anything in the lot. The owners of these little side car dealerships love to make a fast buck and are often more than willing to part with a few vehicle parts to make some fast cash.

The first place that you will need to look for auto parts is at the auto parts stores. This is because they will have the basics that you will need for a good price. If they don't have what you need then you can have it ordered from the warehouse and shipped to the store that you are dealing with.
No matter what ever part you are searching for at low price, many retail stores of auto parts are offering the parts at discounted rates. Most common of these parts are steering rack, belts, brake pads, AC compressor, water pump, catalytic converters, tail light, hoses, water blades, headlights, starter, condenser, muffler, etc.
2) The junk yard. While you might think you are above visiting a junk yard, are you above saving a lot of money? Probably not. A quick stop in at the local junk yard might save you a lot of money compared to a new air filter. And, even better, this ties directly into point #1. A friend of my, Robert, needed an auto part so he looked online and found a junk yard. The 5.3 intake manifold upgrade shipped him a part that was almost new and he couldn't have been happier. Just cause an air filter is used, doesn't mean it's very used!
There are a lot of reasons that you should be careful with your purchase of new ones, but costs are the main one and you need to think about what you are doing with the ones you buy. You are the one that is taking care of your car as well as getting the auto parts just right with it. If you are not doing this in a responsible way, you will end up paying more for them and also for repairs as well. Take some time and find the one that is right for what you are doing.
Baby miscellaneous: Baby's deserve a clean world and joyful experience to grow up in. Buying Baby Toys, Bedding, Clothes, Seats, etc can be hazardous to your child. Expect the items you look at to be unclean and sometimes unsanitary. Can the item be cleaned, and is it worth disinfecting? Some toys may have recall or safety alerts on them that you are not aware of. Ask a lot of questions to the sellers, and be safe in buying something that will become very personable to your own family.
Clean things up as they accumulate because things in good shape will sell faster than dusty or dirty items. Also, consider grouping small items in bags to sell for one price, like a bag of small toys for a dollar rather than trying to sell them separately. Collect plastic bags and even asks friends to donate their plastic shopping bags so there will be plenty on hand for the day of the sale. Have plenty of newspaper on hand for wrapping breakables.
