Schools Eton And Rossall Defy Football Ban After The Queen apos;s Death

Images have surfaced on social media appearing to show elitist public schools Eton College and Rossall School played two football matches on Saturday following the death of Queen Elizabeth II. 
Rossall School deleted their tweet that showed boys from both schools observing a moment of reflection before kick off while wearing their full strips for the first XI and second XI matches between the schools.
Rossall players visited on their way to nearby Eton and posted a follow-up tweet that read:

The FA and English Schools' Football Association both ordered a suspension to all football set to be played over the weekend following the Queen's death.
Premier League, EFL, and National League fixtures were all postponed as a mark of respect following Her Majesty's death despite the backlog of issues that missed matches causes to the domestic seasons.

Eton is one of England's most prestigious educational establishments and https://weareliferuiner.com/chocolate-blackberry-kush-grassroots/ has close ties to the Royal Family and some of the country's most famous politicians and Prime Ministers over the years.
The all-boys college was founded by King Henry VI in 1440 and new Prince of Wales and the Duke of Sussex, along with ousted Prime Minister Boris Johnson.
Angry social media users reacted to the post before it was taken down with some replies slamming the school for being above the rules that everyone else was abiding by in the wake of the Queen's passing.
One replier tweeted: 'Latest example of how the privileged have complete disregard for the rules we're all supposed to follow.'
Sportsmail has approached both schools for comments.
Rossall School responded with a statement viewable on their website that read: 
'Two teams from Rossall School participated in friendly football matches at Eton this Saturday.

In making the decision to honour the invitation, senior staff took careful consideration of the guidance provided by the Department of Digital, Culture, Media and Sport which confirmed that, ‘there was no formal obligation for organisations to postpone or cancel sporting fixtures or events at either elite or grassroots level, between now and the State Funeral'.
