However, one Instagram user called some of her decision making into question when they wrote: 'Don't quite understand the lack of a cot. Maybe I'm old fashioned.'
Explaining her reasoning, the celebrity DJ responded: [T]he cot is in our room, given that's where he'll be for the first few months. Is that ok with you?'

By Friday, the moment was brought up again, when one of her fans enquired if she took any of the criticism aimed at her to heart.
Ashley responded by sharing that she now stops and 'takes some deep breaths' in the face of potential conflict.
Relaxation: Taking to her Instagram Stories, the mother-to-be also revealed that she resorted to taking a nap in the bath on Thursday, as hip pains made it difficult for her to sleep
She added: 'If someone thinks I'm going to be a bad mum because I don't have a cot in my spare room... Do those words effect [sic] my ability as a mum? No. It says a lot more about those people than it does me.'
In her caption for the video showcasing the baby's room, Ashley wrote: https://healthtopical.com/stretch-marks-early-pregnancy/ 'I loved transforming our little box room into a baby room throughout lockdown, so wanted to give you a little tour.
'I wanted to keep the room very neutral, with a nod to nature and our love of adventure and travel. I love the wallpaper because it's got specks of gold in it so helps to make the room look bigger, but it also reminds me of giraffe spots.
'We had to choose between a cot and a double bed because of the size, and decided we wanted a proper bed for our families to be able to come and stay.
Revamp: She gave the baby's room a stylish revamp, but faced criticism for not including a cot
Explained: She explained that the baby would be spending most of their time in her bedroom
Not taking it to heart: By Friday, the moment was brought up again, when one of her fans enquired if she took any of the criticism aimed at her to heart
'I love chilling in this room now, it's super relaxing and I love sitting in here imagining life with the baby in here. Also I can't wait to start dressing him in all his little clothes.'
Taking to her Instagram Stories, the mother-to-be also revealed that she resorted to taking a nap in the bath on Thursday, as hip pains made it difficult for her to sleep.
Sharing footage of herself relaxing in her bath while rubbing her bare baby bump, she wrote: 'I couldn't sleep in the night because of my hips and pelvic pain, so I came to nap in the bath with candles, bath bubbles, and relaxing music.'
'Also ate a massive bowl of porridge,' she continued, before explaining that her pet cat brought the relaxation to an abrupt end: 'Was all going so well and I was drifting off, and then Lady came to use the litter tray and totally killed the Zen vibes.'
Giving a tour: She uploaded a video tour of her baby's new room on Instagram on Thursday
Earlier this week, Ashley glowed as she posed in black lingerie and spoke candidly about her stretch marks in a post on her Instagram account.
The TV personality said that the question she thinks she'd been most asked throughout her pregnancy is what products she uses to stop stretch marks.
Ashley shared a close up photo of her hip and said that she didn't point her stretch marks out 'because I don't want to focus on any part of my body or your body as a flaw'.
She said that she 'loves them because they show how my body adapted to grow my son'.
Glowing: Earlier this week, Ashley glowed as she posed in black lingerie and she spoke candidly about her stretch marks
The reality star said that she has simply been keeping her 'body well moisturised' but hasn't 'bought into any 'magic' potions because they just don't exist'.
Answering the question 'what products are you using to stop getting stretch marks?', Ashley wrote: 'I think this is the question I've been asked the most throughout my pregnancy. And I want to talk about it...
'Firstly, there is no magic potion for stretch marks. The beauty industry literally profits off making us believe there is something 'wrong' with stretch marks (and other perfectly normal things, like cellulite).
So whilst I have been keeping my body well moisturised, I haven't bought in to any 'magic' potions because they just don't exist.
Question: The former Made In Chelsea star, 33, said that the question she thinks she'd been most asked throughout her pregnancy is what products she uses to stop stretch marks
'Secondly, I want to say that I do have stretch marks. I haven't pointed them out because I don't want to focus on any part of my body or your body as a flaw.
No part of our body is a flaw. But I have them and I just wanted to share that, and I love them because they show how my body adapted to grow my son.
'Stretch marks super common and very normal. I saw somewhere that 8/10 pregnant women get stretch marks.
Obviously some of us get them worse than others, and sometimes they come up in different colours depending on our genetics and skin tones, but they're very normal.
Mother natures tattoo: Ashley said she loves her stretch marks because 'they show how my body adapted to grow my son' and that they are 'mother natures tattoo'
'I don't see them as ugly. I've said this before, but I see them as mother nature's tattoo: a way of her commemorating something our body has grown for.
'My pregnancy stretch marks are white, but when I was younger I had angry red marks all over one boob when I had a lump. The colour faded, but the lines remain..they remind me what my body overcame.
'I'd love for all parts of our bodies that we've been made to see as flaws, to be seen as life stories. Our freckles share the stories of times in the sun.
Our stretch marks, of the times our bodies adapted and changed. Our wrinkles, of all the times we laughed, smiled, or cried. We are a growing and evolving work of art.
'So please don't buy magic potions, they probably don't work. But moisturise... I do it twice a day, I always have. But I take extra pride in massaging my bump...
'We are a growing and evolving work of art': Ashley wrote a lengthy Instagram caption explaining that stretch marks are normal and that she doesn't think they're ugly
'It's a self care thing. Will it help prevent stretch marks? Maybe. But please love your body even if and when Mother Nature's tattoos appear. ❤️' [sic]
Ashley candidly revealed on her Instagram stories that she thought she was going into labour on Wednesday night - but it was a false alarm.
The reality star described it as feeling like someone was 'punching my vagina from the inside' and was convinced that she was about to give birth to her baby boy.
She jokingly explained that she decided to go to bed very early as she thought 'if I am going to give birth I want to be well rested'.
An exhausted Ashley appeared on camera in just a nude maternity bra and underwear as she assured fans that it was a false alarm and that she is still waiting for her baby boy.
The mother-to-be opted to go make-up free for the candid video, which saw her taking a minute to relax and let her damp golden tresses dry off after showering.
Ashley told her 279,000 Instagram followers: 'Morning guys, oh my gosh I am so tired today. I like got up, got ready, tried to do some work and now I am just lying in the baby's room.
'I actually thought I might be going into labour last night. I could like feel - it almost felt like someone punching my vagina from like inside.
That sounds really weird, so I was like 'is this it?'. So I went to bed really early cos I was like 'oh my god, if I am going to give birth I want to be well rested'.
'Um but it wasn't, false alarm. But I am exactly a month away now, so I am definitely starting to feel it.'
