Priscilla Presley exuded class as she made her first red carpet appearance since the tragic passing of daughter, Lisa Marie Presley, at the Agent Elvis screening in Hollywood on Tuesday.

The former wife of Elvis Presley, 77, also has a role in the upcoming Netflix animated series and voices herself in the comedic episodes, which will premiere on the streaming site on March 17.
The special screening and photo call is the first red carpet event that Priscilla has attended since Lisa Marie's death nearly two months earlier on January 12.

The businesswoman, who is reportedly 'not talking' to granddaughter Riley Keough, opted for a pair of classic, black slacks along with a white button up that was tucked into the waist of the pants. She layered the sophisticated look with a black blazer that contained shiny strips of fabric just above the arm cuffs for a stylish flare.
Priscilla slipped into a pair of closed-toed, black pumps along with a pair of black, lacy socks underneath.

A black necklace was placed under the pointed collar of the white dress shirt, coinciding with the main color scheme of her ensemble. Her reddish-colored locks were parted to the side, and effortlessly fell down past her shoulders with the ends curling into a simple wave.
As she posed on the red carpet, Presley stood in front of a large poster that promoted the animated series, and also showed the animated character of Elvis in the background.

Matthew McConaughey has been cast to voice the King of Rock and Roll, with other stars also joining the show, such as Kaitlin Olsen, EvdEN EvE nAKLiyaT Johnny Knoxville, Tom Kenny, and also Don Cheadle. The premise follows Elvis as he, 'trades his jumpsuit for a jetpack when he joins a secret spy program to stop villains from destroying the world,' according to an official Netflix synopsis.
Priscilla is not only voicing herself in the adult animation, but is also the co-creator of the series alongside John Eddie.

At the screening, the star was joined by Eddie and showrunner, Mike Arnold, for EVdEN eve NaKLiYat a Q+A session that took place at Netflix's Tudum Theater. If you adored this article and also you would like to collect more info pertaining to EVden EvE nAKliYAT kindly visit the internet site.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Priscilla opened up about why she had created the show and explained she wanted to introduce, 'Elvis to the youth today, wondering why he was so famous and to see him as a hero.' 'I know that this is a dream come true for Elvis because this is really what he wanted to do,' she continued, adding that he had wanted to be a 'federal agent.' 'And for me, I've always wanted to give Elvis what he wanted and never really quite made it.'
The former wife of the iconic singer gushed that, 'He was a beautiful human being and a very talented human being, and I want kids to see who he really was in this because he really was, he wanted to be an agent.

And now he is.' The star also opened up about casting McConaughey to voice Elvis, and eVdeN eVe nAkLiYAt revealed that, 'he's got a great voice, a great voice. He's got that Southern voice and deep voice.' Priscilla expressed that Elvis had the same Southern accent, 'when he would get back to Memphis.
He'd pick it all up at once. Back here in California, he tried to talk Californian.'
According to the outlet, John Eddie explained that the inspiration behind the show was from a 1970 photograph with Elvis and the 37th President of the United States, Richard Nixon. According to the Smithsonian Magazine, Elvis had penned a letter to President Nixon on a flight headed to Washington D.C.

'Sir, I can and eVDen eVE NAkLiYAt will be of any service that I can to help the country out,' he had written. After later explaining that he would be residing at the Washington Hotel, but under the alias of Jon Burrows, he added, 'I will be here for as long as it takes to get the credentials of a federal agent.'
The publication stated that he had been traveling with both guns and eVDeN evE NaKliYat police badges at the time, but his desire was to also have a badge from the Federal Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs.

In her memoir titled Elvis And Me published in 1985, Priscilla had written, 'The narc badge represented some kind of ultimate power to him. With the federal narcotics badge, he [believed he] could legally enter any country both wearing guns and carrying any drugs he wished,' per the outlet.

Along with the photo and offering his services to be a DEA Agent (Drug Enforcement Administration), another inspiration drawn for the adult animation was the singer's past talks about wanting to be a 'comic book hero.'
Eddie stated during Tuesday's panel discussion, 'That was why we made it, as opposed to doing a live-action thing or something, we specifically want to do animated,' per The Hollywood Reporter.

After applauding Austin's portrayal of the King of Rock and Roll, he explained that, 'I've been a big Elvis fan since I was a little kid and even as great as anybody does it, they can never capture Elvis' [appearance].' 'He was such a beautiful man, he's just crazy, and so we thought maybe through animation,' those features could be more easily achieved.

The 10-episode first season is slated to officially premiere to anticipated viewers later this month on Netflix on March 17.
